This knitting kit includes all the wonderful yarn you will need to complete the project, the pattern and a Sasha Kagan woven label. I look forward to seeing you all. Here is an article that places my design career in a historical context, which I hope will enthuse you to come to West Dean! Just heard that I will be exhibiting at the Textile Bazaar this year! Do come and find me at the wonderful Hellens Manor, it’s a great day out with beautiful gardens and cream teas!
Sasha reflects on her 40-year design career. Crafts, DIY projects, FREE crochet patterns, crock pot recipes and more! Starbucks happened to take notice of my love for coffee and sent me some samples of their Core Coffee Series! Of course there is nothing I love more than enjoying my coffee along with a little crochet time. No need for a fancy coffee maker either! It brews a single serving cup of coffee and is so easy to use!
2 coffee filter and pour hot water over the ground beans. Worsted weight yarn in main mug color and brown. I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice which is an acrylic yarn but a nice cotton yarn would work as well. Note: chain 2 at the end of row 12.
Drop main color but don’t fasten off. Make 2 slip stitches, chain 8, skip 5 stitches and join with slip stitch, slip stitch in next, chain 1 and turn, SC, make 12 HDC around chain 8, join with SC, slip stitch in next, fasten off and weave in ends. Crafty posts sporadically over the coming year! I hope you stick around to see my coffee reviews which will always include a new free coffee themed crochet pattern or craft tutorial!
Starbucks did not compensate me for this post. I love Starbucks and those coasters are adorable. Can’t wait to see what else you’ve got up your sleeve. Thank you so much for the pattern. I have to travel to get a Starbucks, but that keeps this coffee special.
I’ll crochet them for my sun and his wife. They are living in Seattle and they love to drink Starbucks coffee. Sometime back I had made cup shaped motifs but without the coffee. Love this idea for a nice gift with a friends favorite coffee! She means DC in the first stitch. SC in the next 8 stitches.
It was confusing in parts for me also. I was having a little trouble with that row myself! I get it now, that explains row 13 and why my pattern isn’t working out! I made smaller versions and turned them into fridge magnets. Thank you so much for clarifying that for me!
